Most oral surgeons provide anesthesia and perform your surgery at the same time; Just Wisdom Teeth has an anesthesiologist dedicated to monitoring your safety. Just Wisdom Teeth provides General Anesthesia services in an AAAHC accredited. An Ambulatory Surgery Center is a licensed facility that is like a hospital but only has operating rooms. Ambulatory Surgery Centers have dedicated Anesthesiologists, recovery nurses, and specialty equipment and supplies that a normal Oral Surgeon doesn’t have in their office. Ambulatory Surgery Centers are safer than in-office GA, but they don’t have the same administrative overhead, costs, or wait times as a hospital. Just Wisdom Teeth partners with the Dental Surgery Center of DC to provide quality care in a timely fashion. Insurances typically cover GA for patients with impacted wisdom teeth. Our Oral Surgeon is in-network with almost all private and state insurances. We charge MD Medicaid rates for cash pay patients (Oral Surgery/Facility Fees). We have partnered with Capital Children´s General Anesthesia Dentistry and Just Wisdom Teeth to provide the highest quality pediatric anesthesia experience. Our medical and nursing staffs are ACLS and PALS certified. We provide a facility for pediatric dentists, general dentists, and oral surgeons to perform dental surgery. We treat dental patients under general anesthesia in a state-licensed, hospital-grade OR dedicated to dentistry with a dedicated anesthesiologist and 3 dental assistants.

Capital Children´s General Anesthesia Dentistry

Our residency-trained dentists treat patients ages 2-8 who need treatment on primary (baby) teeth. They are skilled at restorations, primary crowns, tooth removal, and placing space maintainers.
